I'm
walking on the sands of time,
My footprints deep and sinking
Into the soft sands of time,
Sorrow on my face, my mind is thinking,
Tears roll down my cheeks, my fears know no end,
As you walked away when I didn't expect you to,
Little did you know you were my dearest friend?
I hoped to hold your hand in mine; the hurdles
were yet to be crossed,
Your gentle touch use to put me to sleep,
Your memories I would always want to keep,
Laughter, fun and now a tear you're gone now and
without you I fear,
In the world so large you guided me through,
Following the stars in the night sky blue,
Seclusion, agony, pain flood my eyes now,
Realisation has dawned; you're no more near,
Mother you've left me, my hand no more feels warm,
Your clasp no more, your hugs so warm,
My broken soul, my shattered heart, calls out
to you once more,
Looking up towards the sky, letting that silent
tear drop,
I miss you truely, truthfully from my heart's
core,
And now for you, I let my poem rhyme,
As I walk secluded on the soft sands of time…
